Debbie’s career has been devoted to providing outstanding customer service to her clients. Along the way she has managed sales, marketing and business operations for such notable development industry leaders as Morrison Homes.
Debbie harnessed her experience and knowledge in the detailed business practices of the construction field with the establishment of Municipal Water Works. Since its conception in 2006 she has lead the company in providing economical solutions to many municipalities and utility companies.
“I feel a huge level of pride once we complete a project and review, with our clients, the financial savings we achieved through our established process.”
For nearly 20 years Debbie has called Central Florida home. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and still continues to support the institution today through its alumni events.
James ‘Jimmy’ Mathis
Looking back on his professional experience Jim reflected that he “was preparing for Municipal Water Works since the beginning of his career.”
After 11 years in the public works and utilities industry, Jimmy became the Water Meter Product Specialist for Hughes Supply. He successfully lead the division to a multi-million dollar business segment and earned the reputation as an expert in the field.
An opportunity then arose for Jimmy to focus on water utility products. “Municipal Water Works offers me the chance to focus on what I do best – devise custom fit solutions for my client’s water management needs.”
Under the leadership of Jimmy as vice president of the company, Municipal Water Works has quickly grown to the leader in water management technology for the state of Florida.
At the front lines of the Municipal Water Works team is Kelly, ready to assist customers with each phone call or correspondence. Years of experience in the corporate world help Kelly confirm that all client paperwork is carefully maintained and detailed.
Each day, Kelly cheerfully serves as the first contact customers encounter through their interactions with Municipal Water Works. It is a job she describes as “ideal” because of her dedicated team members and the valued customers she works to assist each day.
“As soon as I met Wes I knew he would be a great fit with our team,” explained Debbie Mathis, president of Municipal Water Works. “Though he already had years of successful customer service experience coupled with an array of product knowledge I was very impressed with his drive to commitment and to excel in customer service.
Wes joined Municipal Water Works as the inside sales/customer service representative for the company. He came to us with over 10 years of experience in the customer service industry with a primary focus in municipality inventory and purchasing. Since he has joined the team he as proven Debbie’s instincts right by wholeheartedly focusing on the customers’ objectives and ensuring customers receive the high standard of customer service they so deserve. Each time an order is placed with the company, Wes drafts the customer quote, completes the order, and provides support customers may need to successfully integrate Municipal Water Work’s products into their company.
Wes is originally from Illinois but has spent much of his life in the Central Florida area.
Richard ‘Rick’ Reed
Field Services Manager
Rick excelled in his career with public utility providers earning accolades from his supervisors while working to obtain additional training and certification to progress in the field. His training brought him to one impressive new product that changed the future of his professional focus.
After learning the exceptional benefits and features of the Master Meter product, Richard joined the Municipal Water Work’s team, the only qualified Florida distributor of Master Meter. Since his move to the company, Rick travels throughout the southeast servicing the technical needs of both the private and public utility companies Municipal Water Works serves.
“The expertise Rick brought to our team added another dimension of support to our clients,” explained Jim Mathis, vice president of Municipal Water Works. “He is able to quickly arrive at a facility, diagnose the concern and develop an appropriate action plan to alleviate any issues. Our customers have benefited greatly from his dedication.”
Rick’s skill set includes meter testing, retrofitting meters and backflow testing and repairs.
Central Florida Territory Manager
Before acquiring the southern territory Mark built an extensive knowledge of the utility industry at some of the top performing organizations in the field. Both the public and private groups benefited from his expertise while he held a Regional Sales Manager role with Consolidated Pipe and Supply. Combined Mark has more than 20 years of experience with such companies as American AVK and Davis Meter.
